Car Care 101
Ages: 8 and up

Open to Boys and Girls who would like to learn about basic car maintenance. They’ll go over information such as tire pressure, checking fluids, navigating a car manual, and more. Students need to be able to sit and listen to some lecture and instructions and watching some demonstrations.
Cooking- Chop it Up!
Ages: 10 and up

This class is geared to prepare students who may have spent very little time in the kitchen for Cooking 101. Chop It Up will be heavily focused on knife skills. During the first 5 weeks, Students will learn to cut, peel, dice, chop, and mince root vegetables and herbs while also getting a basic understanding of how each of those is prepared. The latter five weeks of the course, students will prepare two of the five mother sauces, a few simple sides, and a breakfast dish.
Pyrography & Whittling
Ages: 10 and up

Must be trusted with sharp knives and hot pens. Burns and cuts are possible! We will have safety gloves but that doesn't mean accidents won't happen.
We will be whittling different animals and items (foxes, owls, bears, bowls, spoons and whatever else we can think of) and learning to draw pictures with the hot pens making beautiful pyrography pictures possibly some painting as well. This class requires patience and accepting mistakes.
Zoology- Flying Creatures

Let’s learn about flying creatures from day 5 of Creation! We’ll be using the Apologia curriculum and continuing on from where we left off last semester. We’ll learn about God’s amazing designs in pterosaurs, many types of birds, and bats!
World History

American History 1900-present

Come learn about American history from 1900 to present day! We’ll be using America’s Story, Volume 3 from the Master Books curriculum. It involves a lot of storytelling about historical events and people, so this class is best for kids who enjoy listening. We are picking up where we left off last semester. If your child did not take that class, that’s ok! General knowledge of US states/geography and of our country’s founding is helpful.
How to Draw Birds
Ages: 6-8

In this class we explore basic drawing in a fun easy way. The students will work on different types of straight, curved, zigzag lines. Basic geometric shapes (circle, square, triangle), and organic shapes as we learn to draw two different birds each week.
Exploring Different Countries
Ages: 7-9

This course covers topics such as climate, language, food, and culture. Each week we learn a craft or recipe. The hope is we will get see and taste different elements of the different countries around the world.
Emotional Health

While looking through a Biblical lens, we will learn how to identify our emotions beyond happy, sad, angry or scared. We will also create coping crafts, (ie vision boards, calming glitter jars) learn coping skills, (ie, journaling, mindfulness) and how to regulate and express our emotions in a healthy way.
Teen Fellowship

This class will be a time of fellowship for middle and high school students. It will include a time of focus on getting to know each other, a time for praise and worship, games and discussions on topics requested by the students.

Be inspired by young people around the world who have done great things for God! The goal of this class is to enjoy exciting Christian literature, be encouraged to serve the Lord with our lives, and engage in rich discussion and fellowship with our classmates. The class will cover reading three books over the course of 9 weeks and will have in-class discussion, trivia and games about the material covered. At the end of each book, we will share a snack from the cultures we will visit as a bonus!

Lego Teams

Lego Teams will consist of weekly team challenges to design cities or specific scenes with some motor powered gadgets etc. Build a car that races through the streets, a giant robot that attacks the city, and more. Students will learn how to problem solve, navigate working together while experiencing wins and losses as a team. The overarching theme of this class will be good sportsmanship- the art of losing well, and the art of winning well.
